Project Brief

Every year we are lucky enough to spec and supply furniture into schools and public spaces all over Scotland. When Wallace High School in Stirling approached us to refresh their teacher base and school library areas they were looking for something a bit different.

The brief was to create a teacher base which was modern, bright and offered multi use collaboration spaces. Bespoke joinery was used to create desking and built in storage to maximise collaboration spaces. The team now have access to an Encore meeting pod, Sven high bench table, huge bespoke 4m meeting table and various soft seating areas.

The school library has been transformed and is now a cool modern working space for the pupils and teachers at Wallace High. There is now a flexible and dynamic area for group teaching with Metalliform Connect tables and VESTA chairs, study booths which were bespoke manufactured by DS2 for individual work activities which require peace and also quiet areas with soft seating.
